Electronic components may need to be protected against environmental influence such as humidity. This can be effected by coating. In most cases dip coating is not applicable, because electric contacts might become insulated or mechanical parts such as push-buttons might become inoperative.
The solution therefor is the selective coating, where defined areas can be left blank.
For years we use an Asymtek selective conformal coating system. Up to now, we have coated more than 250.000 boards. Please follow the link to read more about this technology.
