VINCELL 7.0 boxed PCT
800 MHz HMI with Aluminium front and capacitive Touch
The brandnew VINCELL 7.0 boxed PCT is powered by an Cortex A8 CPU. The PCB has the same form factor like CUPID and is equipped with the same interfaces. VINCELL is expected for the 1st quarter of 2012 to be available in the same variants as CUPID. The first boxedunit with 7.0" display and projective-capacitive touch will be available in December. The polycarbonate cover lens is silk printed on the back side. The standard colours are nut brown, light-ivory and anthracite grey. Other colours are available as custom design. Other display dimensions fill follow due to the LVDS interface and the 2D/3D acceleration.
With 800 MHz the Freescale i.MX53 Cortex A8 CPU offers maximum power for high end graphic user interfaces. VINCELL will be shipped either with Windows Embedded Compact 7, Linux or Android.
The system will be presented on the SPS/Drives 2011 the first time. Images and more details will follow.
